About "The Homesick Recordings":
On Friday, December 1, 2006, my friend Suzanne (an avid fan of Glen's) handed me an early holiday present. It was a card containing a CD with two vintage recordings long-thought to have vanished into the mists of time.
After returning home the following evening, I was amazed to realize that these were the Christmas audio cards that Glen had recorded for friends and family nearly 30 years earlier! I got in touch with Glen and shared these recordings with him... he was floored!
I quickly got word to Suzanne, and she very kindly sent a message to the person who had the files in the first place.. Pat Horgan! Pat wrote:
"I was working at Sire Records at the time, and Glen was recording demos for Tony Shanahan (Tony was signed to Sire as a member of 'Alda Reserve' at the time). It went into my Xmas tape box and came out every year, and when I got married, my wife loved the songs and insisted on playing them every year. I still have the orginal cassette, and only had them put on CD about 3 or 4 years ago."
Pat has even offered to send a photo of the original tape, which I will post here on this page.

GlenBurtnik.com would like to thank Pat and Suzanne for this generous gift to Glen fans everywhere!
